This 18" long necklace features high luster petal pearls hand-knotted on white thread, with a gold fill lobster claw. The pearls are only 2 to 4mm in thickness, while exceeding 15mm in width and 20mm in length in this strand. They are true second harvest China freshwater pearls without nucleus, drilled at a tangent. They are now much less plentiful than before, being replaced by lightweight coin pearls, that tend to be thicker, with less curvature. This necklace weighs 120 grams.
